Sitting Glasgow list MSP Bob Doris and his campaign team in Maryhill & Springburn have launched a new website, bobdoris2011.org, to mark the start of the election year. Speaking in Maryhill today, Bob Doris said: "Our new campaign website is part of our plan for communicating better with voters ahead of the Holyrood election. The response we’re getting from voters in this campaign has been terrific so far, particularly from Liberal voters who didn’t want a Tory Government but also from many traditional Labour voters who have simply had enough.

"This seat is going to be a tough fight between Labour and the SNP but we have an enthusiastic campaign team and we have a far superior message. We now have an excellent track record in Government to compare and our policies on jobs, housing, crime and other key voter issues are far more in tune with what voters here want.

"Whilst our main campaigning activity will be delivering election materials and talking directly to voters in the traditional way, the bobdoris2011.org website will be the centre-point of our digital media campaign.

"Labour are preparing to deceive voters in Glasgow with their now infamous divisive and dirty politics. They will tell voters that Glasgow has been ripped off, then quietly make the same claims in all the other parts of Scotland. Glasgow's interests have been well served by this SNP administration because our party cares deeply about this city. We need to make sure the SNP message is heard loud and clear, and through as many communication channels as possible."
