Glasgow Pollok SNP is delighted to have selected experienced Nationalist activist Chris Stephens to contest this constituency in the Holyrood Elections in May.
Chris was born in Glasgow in 1973, is employed by Glasgow City Council, and is a senior UNISON activist. Chris has over last decade represented workers, and has a distinguished record, campaigning on issues such as Equal Pay, Disability Discrimination, Pensions. As an indication of his hard work, Chris has increased Trade Union membership in his workplace by 60% in the last 2 years.
Chris is 33, joined the SNP 17 years ago, and believes only the SNP and the noble cause of Independence have the ambition, vision and ideals to transform peoples lives within this Constituency. Only by electing an SNP MSP and SNP Councillors will the people of Glasgow Pollok receive the representation they deserve.
As your MSP, Chris will:

Be accessible, holding 17 surgeries per month across the Constituency along with SNP Councillors, listening to local concerns and working with constituents and SNP Councillors to resolve any problems that might arise.
- Regularly communicate with residents by quarterly newsletter, phone, email and in person, with an accessible office in the Constituency.
