Communities and Sport Minister Stewart Maxwell will launch the final stage of the £43million project to transform the Camlachie housing estate in Glasgow on Monday (2 June).

The whole development will see 440 new homes constructed in the area. They will replace sub standard housing that previously occupied the site formerly known as Barrowfield.

This project will complement the regeneration of the East End of Glasgow that is being accelerated by the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
