A Glasgow SNP MSP has welcomed the news that new energy jobs could be heading to Glasgow.
Glasgow MSP Bob Doris said: “This is good news for Glasgow and builds on the city’s growing reputation in renewables.
“The announcement from Alex Salmond and Gamesa that 150 jobs will be coming to Glasgow with a high tech marine energy centre is excellent news for the city.
“These will be high value jobs that can play a central part in Scotland’s growing green energy industry and I look forward to welcoming Gamesa to the city and seeing their investment deliver green jobs for Glasgow.
