Bill Kidd, SNP MSP for Glasgow, is welcoming a £21.5 million cash injection from the SNP Government for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which will benefit the city's health facilities greatly, says Mr Kidd.
Commenting, Mr Kidd said: "I am delighted with the substantial investment in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which will support dental services, community pharmacies and other improvements in health facilities.
"The SNP Government is committed to health services locally and across Scotland generally, as shown by this latest investment.
"The SNP Government is investing in our health service and working hard to deliver the best possible health care in our communities.
"This comes in contrast to the massive NHS cuts that would have been imposed under a Labour administration and the millions being cut from health budgets in England.
"It is clear that the Scottish Government is committed to improving health care for the city of Glasgow and that a better resourced and more effective health service remains high on the agenda.
