Commenting on reports that Stuart MacLennan - the Labour candidate who was supposedly suspended from the Labour party and its employ after his insulting comments about the elderly, his prospectice constituents and other politicians on twitter were revealed during the election is now working for gaffe prone MSP Frank McAveety Glasgow MSP Bill Kidd, a member of the Parliament's Equal Opportunities Committee.
"This is clearly the office for inappropriate and offensive comments. Two men and their big mouths in one office is a recipie for disaster.

Bill Kidd, SNP MSP for Glasgow, has been chosen as the candidate for the Glasgow Anniesland constituency for the 2011 Scottish Parliament elections. Mr Kidd’s candidacy was approved last Thursday (5th August 2010) by the Scottish National Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), having been selected by local members earlier this year.
Bill was elected as an MSP for the Glasgow region in the historic 2007 Scottish Parliamentary elections, which saw the formation of the first ever SNP government. Since being elected, Bill has worked hard to make sure local interests are heard in the Scottish Parliament.

Responding to Lord Foulkes' claims regarding Scottish Government travel costs the SNP pointed to the £27,576 claimed by Lord Foulkes alone for his taxpayer funded trips to and from London, over £15,000 of which went on flights since his election to the Scottish Parliament in May 2007.
Lord Foulkes has claimed over £50,000 in Lords expenses in each of the last two years despite being a supposedly full time MSP.
