'Recipe for disaster' with return of Twittergate candidate
Tuesday, 24 August 2010

Bill Kidd MSPCommenting on reports that Stuart MacLennan - the Labour candidate who was supposedly suspended from the Labour party and its employ after his insulting comments about the elderly, his prospectice constituents and other politicians on twitter were revealed during the election is now working for gaffe prone MSP Frank McAveety Glasgow MSP Bill Kidd, a member of the Parliament's Equal Opportunities Committee.

"This is clearly the office for inappropriate and offensive comments. Two men and their big mouths in one office is a recipie for disaster.

"Despite saying he had been suspended from the party, from his job and would never hold office in Labour again it seems no comment is too offensive for the Labour party.

"Mr MacLennan owes a serious apology to the people of Moray.

"After McAveety's inappropriate comments it is beyond a joke that he hires as a staff member someone whose attitude has been publically exposed as as bad as his."

Note:

Mr MacLennan's comments are reported here.
