The SNP has criticised the decision to pour a further £636,000 into a Culture & Leisure Services capital project. This time it is for consultants and contractors costs at the Easterhouse Cultural Campus. The finished building looks great and is being well used. However, John Mason argued at Friday's Executive Committee that CLS should find the extra from other capital projects. "By taking money from the general "pool", it will be less sexy projects like replacement street-lighting and refurbishing schools which will suffer."
