JOE KERR is a well known face in the Milton area. He and his family are Milton born and bred, and Joe has been involved as a community activist for as long as he can remember.

It was working for the community that led him to join Maryhill SNP, and he had hoped to represent the people of Milton ward as an SNP councillor.

Joe says: “I am sorry that health and family circumstances mean I am unable to be your candidate in this election. But I have no hesitation in endorsing Billy – and urging everyone to vote for him.

“Billy and I have worked together on many local campaigns including our successful campaign to save St. Augustine’s pitches from the hands of private developers. I have also seen Billy achieve many other results for Milton people, especially on housing issues and anti social behaviour.”

Joe Kerr was formerly involved with Milton Community Council, Food Co-Op, Credit Union, and was Milton’s SNP candidate in 2003 and 1999.
