Action Billy has already taken |

In response to the issues raised by the local survey, Billy McAllister has already started to act.
- I have written to divisional commander, Chief Superintendent Gordon Meldrum to arrange a meeting. I will call for a review of policing levels and strategies. They must increase!
- I will meet with council officials to
- deliver on my commitments for St Augustineâs.
- enhance facilities at the Chirnsyde Centre and to dramatically improve its management.
- discuss specific concerns raised by some residents about Chirnsyde.
- review leisure facilities available for the residents of Lambhill.
- I will arrange to meet with the GHA on a monthly basis to keep tabs on the progress being made to upgrade the quality of the local housing stock, and to demand that the GHA deals more effectively with the problem of anti-social behaviour. I have a proven track record in these areas and I am confident I will deliver.
- I have written to the council to urgently discuss improving street lighting in the area. There are too many poorly lit, no go areas in our ward.
